Think of the modern world of dating as a circus filled with clowns just waiting for their next opportunity to be in the spotlight. They'll pretty much do anything and everything to be the main act. They'll upload questionable pictures to their avatars, and slide into anyone's DMs who will give them the time of day. And if they don't get the attention they 'deserve'? They'll just lash out. Classic clown behavior. 
 

But let's be real. The dating world in the Renaissance period was no walk in the piazza either. Sure, there weren't any dating apps, but there were chaperones, dowries, and you know, things like the plague. Welp, we guess every relationship 'era' has its own advantages and disadvantages.
